Following last year’s successful New Year’s event by ELETAEN, this year we are changing the season—but not the celebratory spirit! Maintaining the core values and the well-loved structure of the event, we are moving to a new venue, enriched with fresh additions that renew the occasion and will keep interest high. ELETAEN returns with a special summer reception, dynamically celebrating Global Wind Day 2026.
On Thursday, June 18, we kindly invite you to our Reception, which will take place at the iconic Domus Asteria Glyfada.

The Venue
Domus Asteria Glyfada is a modern, comfortable venue that uniquely blends the natural landscape, the sea, and the elegance of contemporary hospitality. In that venue of high aesthetic quality by the sea, the guests will have the opportunity to meet, exchange views, and celebrate wind energy and its contribution to sustainable development having the sunset of the Saronic Gulf as a backdrop.
Stone-carving exhibition
Those who wish, will have the opportunity to visit the permanent stone-carving exhibition by the artist Niki Papatheochari, inspired by myths, fairy tales, nature, and the environment, hosted at the Cultural Center of Art & Letters, adjacent to the event venue.
In this new exhibition space, 70 works of stone carving and painting are presented for the first time, which—combined with poetry—create a multidimensional environment that redefines the way we perceive sculpture.

AEOLOS Awards
This year is also the year for the AEOLOS awards. The awards are given every two years to personalities with a special contribution to Wind Energy in Greece.
They were established in 2005. Since 2019, the award is an olive tree made of brass, clay and stone that has been blown by the northeast wind of the Aegean. It combines the Greek element of the olive and the sea with the power of the wind.
